(Audubon) The Mayor of Audubon has issued a Water Alert.
Audubon City Clerk Joe Foran explained, “What that means is when there is moderate, but limited supplies of water available, the Mayor will ask people to conserve water usage voluntarily. Basically it’s asking people to refrain from watering yards and their gardens and use commercial car washes instead of doing a private wash in their driveway. Just try to limit their usage if they can.”
The Water Alert is in effect until the end of September.
