(Red Oak) A Red Oak Woman accused of stealing items from the Dollar General Store faces theft charges.
Red Oak Police arrested 64-year old Sheryl Lynn Franzen for 5th Degree-Theft early Saturday afternoon for allegedly stealing $17.03 worth of merchandise from the store in Red Oak.
Franzen placed the stolen items in her purse, according to the Police report. When confronted, Franzen attempted to put the stolen items back on the shelves.
Police transported Franzen to the Montgomery County Jail. Authorities held her on a $300.00 bond.
