The Iowa State Patrol says 88-year-old Mary Virginia Mingus, of Coon Rapids, was transported to the Guthrie County Hospital by Guthrie EMS where she died from her injuries. Jonathon Rodger Merk, 43, of Waukee, and a 12-year-old from Waukee were both transported to the Audubon County Hospital by Audubon EMS to be treated for injuries.
According to the report, Mary Virginia Mingus was driving a 2001 Ford Taurus southbound on Chestnut Road.
