(Avoca) Baseball and Softball programs received word on Wednesday that they will indeed get an opportunity to compete in a shortened 2020 season. Many modifications will need to be put in place before competition begins on June 15th and not all of the originally scheduled games will be able to be played. As KSOM/KS95.7 Sports receives the updated schedule from each of our area teams we will post them for you to browse through. AHSTW baseball will get a chance to play each conference school one time plus a pair of non-conference opponents at the end of the regular season. The Lady Vikes in softball have each conference opponent on the schedule one time as well as two weekend tournaments.
