(Des Moines) A Freeze Warning goes into effect for all of western and northern Iowa from 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Monday. The rest of the state is under a Frost Advisory.
Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30-degrees are forecast for western and northern Iowa. The cold temperatures may harm crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
Temperatures will gradually rise to the low to mid-60’s on Wednesday and low 70’s by Thursday.
