(Cumberland) The City of Cumberland would like the public to know about some changes due to COVID-19.
Cumberland City Hall will be closed until further notice beginning March 18th.
City Bills will still arrive April 1st, and City staff may still be contacted regarding City business.

Public Works Director Jonathan Sothman has stated that the City’s water is still safe to drink, and that anyone facing disconnection at this time will have an extension.
The Cumberland Public Library will be closed from March 17th through April 14th.
Librarian Carolyn Hartmann requests at this time that no one return their library books.
The Cumberland Telephone Company will lock its doors to the public beginning March 18th until further notice. Bills will still arrive around the first of the month as usual, and customer questions/concerns may be directed to their phone line at (712)774-2221.
The Middle of Nowhere bar & grill in Cumberland will be closed to patrons as of today, but will still be offering carry-out. They can be contacted at (712)774-5425 for orders, hours, and menu.
Care and Share Outreach at the Cumberland United Methodist Church will continue their disbursement today from 4:00 – 5:30pm as usual. Patron’s items will be passed through their vehicle windows to avoid contact. Care and Share Outreach distributes food pantry items every first and third Wednesday of the month.
