(Clarinda) Clarinda Police Chief Keith Brothers report two students escaped from the Clarinda Academy campus in an unknown direction of travel.
Authorities are searching for a 15-year old white male, blonde hair, 5’9, 140 pounds, and wears eyeglasses. The other missing individual is described as a 17-year old Native American male, 5’10, 145 pounds with black hair. Chief Brothers believe the two teens are out of the area. He says two vehicles were stolen from Clarinda. A Chevrolet S-10 pickup and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is believed that these were stolen by the students. The matter remains under investigation. Law enforcement in Iowa and surrounding states have been alerted to the missing students & the stolen vehicles.
