The Lady Vikes are outright Western Iowa Conference champions. It’s their first league crown since 2000. Kinsey Scheffler had 19 points and 15 rebounds. Claire Harris posted 18 points and 6 steals. Madison Ausdemore scored 12 for Tri-Center. AHSTW goes into tourney play at 18-3 overall.
Audubon 49, IKM-Manning 36
The Wheelers win back-to-back games to close the regular season at 14-7. Aleah Hermansen had 14 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and a steal. Leah Subbert and Jaci Christensen each scored 10. Audubon made 17/21 free-throws led by Hermansen going 8/10. Audubon hosts Orient-Mackburg Thursday in regional tournament play.
Essex 38, Griswold 32
The Tigers will take a 2-17 record into postseason play on Thursday at CAM. We’ll have their game on KSOM. In Tuesday’s loss, Anna Kelley and Hope Ogg each scored nine points. Ogg added five assists.
Woodward-Granger 49, ACGC 40
Emma Anderson led the Hawks with 16 points. ACGC had a career high 15 points from Alaina Bunde and she grabbed 8 rebounds. EmmaKay McClain battled foul trouble, but still managed 8 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. ACGC takes a 10-10 record into a first round regional tourney date with West Central Valley on Saturday.
