(Council Bluffs) Pottawattamie County Emergency Management has launched a new website.
Emergency Management Director Doug Reed says the new site; pcema-ia.org, will make it easier for them to communicate with Pottawattamie County residents and its municipalities. He says the website will also serve as the front door to people not familiar with the Pottawattamie County Emergency Management Agency and its programs.
“We’ve created a site with a new look and feel, but we hope to add much more to the online experience as we move forward,” stated Reed. “The primary goal of this initiative was to provide quicker and more efficient access to information when it’s needed the most. “
Reed says the new site allows them to release agency information, news, preparedness tools and resources, and information regarding active emergency and disaster response and recovery activities in a direct manner that’s easier for residents to find.
