(Atlantic) The Atlantic FFA Officer team teamed up with Elite Octane and the Cass County Cattlemen on Friday, October 23rd, to provide lunch for area farmers during harvest.
The Cass County Cattlemen cooked hamburgers, while FFA members prepared and packaged meals that included chips, an apple, bottled water, and homemade cookies.

The project was designed to give back to the farmers who help feed communities across the country and around the world. Recognizing that many farmers work long hours during harvest and may skip meals or rely on snacks throughout the day, the FFA wanted to provide them with a nutritious meal.

Atlantic FFA member Grant Petty said he enjoyed working with fellow FFA members and providing lunch for area farmers. He also thanked Elite Octane for inviting the group to participate, adding that the ethanol plant is much busier than people might realize.
