(Atlantic) Produce in the Park will host its BOO-tique Market on Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Nishna Valley YMCA.
According to the press release, the Halloween-themed farmers market will feature trick-or-treating, face painting, a free YMCA bounce house, and a free bat-themed craft activity. Costumes are welcome.
Market Manager Ciara Hoegh says Shoppers can find local produce, meat, eggs, honey, baked goods, sourdough bread, desserts, and handmade crafts. Expect a variety of fall produce, including carrots, cabbage, broccoli, squash, onions, garlic, sweet potatoes, spinach, and fresh herbs.
Cass County Extension will provide information on bat management and the benefits of bats, while Cass County Conservation will have bat-house examples and plans.
Admission is free, and SNAP/EBT and Double Up Food Bucks are accepted for qualifying food items.
The BOO-tique Market is the first of five markets in Produce in the Park’s 2026-2027 Holiday Market Series. Upcoming markets include the Harvest Market on November 23, the Christmas Market on December 19, the Sweetheart Market on February 13, and the Spring Celebration Market on March 27.
