(Harlan, IA) — A tough non-district schedule ended on a high note for the Harlan Cyclones when they beat Denison-Schleswig 48-0, and they now look to carry that momentum with the Carroll Tigers coming to town.
The Cyclones started off the season with losses to Underwood, Glenwood, and Lewis Central, but the home win over the Monarchs was needed according to Coach Todd Bladt. He says the team executed well last Friday night:
Harlan now awaits the Carroll Tigers, a team that has proved a lot of people wrong this year with a record of 3-1 including last week’s big victory over Lewis Central. Coach Bladt says their offense is big and physical, and their defense will also be tough:
Kickoff is at 7:00 PM tonight in Harlan.
