(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors will start the interview process for the part-time Budget-Finance and Human Resources Clerk. County Supervisor Chairperson Charla Schmid says three people applied; only one is qualified to fill the position.
The board approved Supervisors Charla Schmid and Alex Burton to conduct the interview process, with Bryan Amos as the alternate. Schmid says that during the interview process, they will review the job description to see if the candidate is still interested in the position.
County Auditor Jill Ozuna stated during a supervisors’ meeting in June that the position would provide support in several areas, including payroll, human resources, employee onboarding, financial and accounting functions, budget forecasting, data entry, website updates, communications, board correspondence, and other administrative duties. The proposed position would be limited to 30 hours per week.
