(Guthrie Center, IA) — The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors passed four resolutions at Tuesday’s meeting.
Two resolutions were budget related — Resolution 27-06 was the adoption of the budget amendment that was debated last week and Resolution 27-07 was the appropriation of the funds for the budget amendment. Both measures passed unanimously.
The Supervisors also passed Resolution 27-08 which allocated a speed zone at 200th Street and Resolution 27-09 which allocated a speed zone Redwood Road.
Chair Steve Smith also says there will be a delay in the EMS Committee making a presentation to the Supervisors
In addition, Guthrie County Zoning Administrator Chris Whitaker is interested in putting together a roundtable meeting of city and council officials — Supervisor Maggie Armstrong says its a way to foster communication between the county and cities
No date has been set yet for such a meeting.
The supervisors also approved to write a letter to the Iowa DOT to maintain a speed limit of 55 on Highway 4.
