(Cass County) — Cass County voters will have several contested races on the ballot for the November 3, 2026, General Election.
At the state level, Roby Smith, a Republican, and John Norwood, a Democrat, are running for Treasurer of State.
The Secretary of Agriculture race includes Republican Mike Naig and Democrat Chris Jones. For Attorney General, Republican Brenna Bird will face Democrat Nate Willems.
In State Senate District 9, Democrat James Uhlenkamp and Republican Steve Baier are candidates.
State Representative District 18 will feature Democrat Tripp Narup and Republican Thomas Jay Moore.
Several Cass County offices and boards also have candidates.
The Agricultural Extension Council has six candidates seeking five positions: Michelle Behrends, Coleen Babe, Beth Ann McDermott, Kim Ibken, Chad Becker, and Todd M. Weppler.
Two candidates are seeking two positions on the Soil and Water Conservation District: Gregory D. Zellmer and John J. Hansen.
The Hospital Board has four positions available. Candidates listed are Joanne Lorence, Mary Strong, Julie Pollock, and Michael Klocke.
The 2026 General Election is scheduled for November 3.
