(Atlantic) Community members of all ages are invited to roll up their sleeves and help create a greener future at a Volunteer Tree Planting Day at the Schildberg Campground on Friday, August 28, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Volunteers will gather at the campground parking lot before working together to plant trees throughout the camp area. The project will help beautify Schildberg for future generations while providing additional shade, improving habitat, and enhancing this outdoor space.
“Many hands make lighter work,” and organizers encourage families, friends, and community members to join in this hands-on opportunity to make a lasting difference.
The event is open to all ages. Volunteers should bring work gloves and wear closed-toe shoes suitable for outdoor work. Hand tools are helpful but not required. No previous tree-planting experience is necessary.
