(Harlan) The Harlan City Council on Tuesday approved the sale of city-owned property at 406 Tarkington Street in Harlan. The Council’s approval followed a public hearing on the transaction, in which there were no comments for or against from the public.
The real estate is being sold to Bruce Berger Construction for $25,001.00.
Gervas Mgonja, City Administrator, says the purchase requirements have been updated to 36 months instead of 24 months.
This includes lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 in Block 23 of the original town of Harlan, subject to public streets, easements, and ordinances of record.
