(Pottawattamie Co.) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors recognized Becky Lenihan during Tuesday’s meeting for 37 years of dedicated service to the county.
Lenihan, who serves as a Finance and Tax Officer in the Auditor’s Office, was recognized as she prepares for retirement.
Board Chair Brian Shea read a letter on behalf of County Auditor Mary Ann Hanusa, who was unable to attend the meeting. Hanusa thanked Lenihan for her many years of dedication to Pottawattamie County.
County Treasurer Lea Voss recognized Lenihan.
The Supervisors also recognized the 2026 second-quarter employee winners. The county’s recognition program is based on five pillars that define how employees engage with citizens and one another: Service and Accountability, Ethics and Integrity, Job Knowledge and Skill, Professionalism, and Self-Management.
