(Anita, IA) — CAM’s Football Team is looking for big things as they come into a new season. The Cougars are coming off a 4-4 season and missed the playoffs but Head Coach Nick Kauffman is excited to get one of his lineman back from a serious injury
Barber was involved in a serious horse accident in the middle of football season last year and will start on the offensive line — Barber is only a Junior but Kaufman has a good group of 7 Seniors who are ready to put in the time to make CAM a playoff team again
One area that Kaufman still needs to figure out who will play what on the defensive line and has a small injury on the offensive line
CAM is in 8 Man District 9 with Ar-We-Va, Audubon, Coon Rapids Bayard, Glidden Ralston and Griswold — they filled their opening with Exira EHK with a game against Northwood Kensett on October 2 and will visit Fremont Mills in their opener on August 28.
