(Linn County) The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a fatal accident after a Linn County Sheriff’s Deputy pursuit ended in a crash on Saturday night.
According to the report, the driver of a vehicle attempting to elude a sheriff’s deputy while traveling south on Lefebure Road failed to stop at a stop sign on Wright Brothers Road, left the roadway, and crashed just before 9:20 p.m.
No other details were released in the report.
