(Cass Co.) The Cass County Board of Supervisors this morning approved the decommissioning of Crooked Creek Watershed Site 13-C in Grant Township.
The decommissioning includes several parcels of land owned by by Kent Kiburz, John Asberry, Lynn Hansen and Glenn-Ellen Farms, Inc.

Board Chair Steve Baier said this probably won’t be the last decommissioning, as some of these projects are coming to the end of their useful life.
Watershed structures were originally engineered to control runoff, mitigate flooding along tributaries and trap sediment.
