(Lewis) Park Officials at Prairie Rose State Park are looking to fill some summer help positions.
John Lorenzen, a Fisheries Biologist with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, says one summer seasonal worker could handle mowing, cleaning, assisting with campers, potentially sawing trees, and general maintenance.
Lorenzen says there is also a need for a campground host. He says this position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week of work, and the person gets to stay at the campgrounds for free.
Lorenzen says this employee helps with camper questions, cleaning, and general work around the campground to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience.
Those interested in applying need to call the park office at 712-773-2701.
