Dennis Brix Obituary

Dennis Brix, 86, of Walnut, Iowa, went to be home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Eden Acres Lutheran Home in Perry, Iowa.

Dennis is survived by sister, Nerita (Robert) Sorensen of Walnut; ex-wife, Linda (Richard d.) Weaver of Atlantic; sons, Sean Brix of Perry; Shane (Karen) Brix of Grimes; Derek (Lisa) Brix of Ames; and 3 granddaughters.

Visitation with the family present will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 27^th at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 28^th at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, with Pastor Randy Abell of the Heartland Baptist Church in Ames officiating. Burial will be in the Atlantic Cemetery, with military honors presented by the Atlantic Color Guard.
