(Bondurant) The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a child in Bondurant.
Polk County Communications received a report of an unresponsive three-year-old boy in the 3400 block of Hawthorn Dr. on the southwest side of Bondurant. Sheriff’s deputies, and Bondurant EMS were unsuccessful at reviving the child.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Detectives, and the Polk County Medical Examiner are investigating.
This is considered an isolated event, and there is no threat to the community.
