Christine Renee Coon, born October 29, 1949, in Creston, Iowa, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, in Show Low, Arizona, at age 75.
Christine’s life was filled with love for her family, faith, and many passions. A talented musician, she found great joy playing the piano and organ for her church, where her music touched the hearts of many. She was also an avid golfer and loved spending time on the course. In quieter moments, Christine enjoyed playing card games with friends and family, especially Hand & Foot & Toe, and Pinochle.
Throughout her life, Christine’s warmth and generosity created lasting memories for all who knew her.
Christine is survived by her beloved husband, Tommie Dale Coon; her mother Marilyn Blankinship; her children Anna Lisa Heavner (Ron); Nicholas Bintner; and her cherished grandson Shawn Bintner. Also, brother Wes Blankinship, sisters Leta Gerlock (Robert); and Bobbi Lynn Berry (Scott). She was preceded in death by her father Robert Blankinship.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery near Cumberland.
