(Atlantic) Atlantic Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bailey Smith reported this morning an imposter is pretending to be associated with the chamber, asking members if they would like a list of chamber members. Smith says DON’T OPEN IT!
Smith says the fraudulent email includes a link you can click to find out more about the cost and details. Bailey says not to click the link; it did not come from the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce. She says clicking the link could infect your computer with a virus or take you to a fake payment center.
Emails from the chamber will always come from the following email addresses: bailey@atlanticiowa.com, kelsey@atlanticiowa.com, or chamber@atlanticiowa.com.
