Road conditions seem to be improving across the area
- Interstate 80 was impassable and while the Iowa DOT says its still covered, the interstate has been upgraded from the Avoca exit to Stuart exit as travel still not recommended. I-80 is partially covered west of Avoca and east of Stuart
- IA Highway 44 is still impassable between Audubon US Highway 169. Emergency vehicles are blocking the lanes south of Minden
- US Highway 71 is now partially covered south of Atlantic; just north of Grant it becomes more seasonal and normal driving conditions; US Highway 71 north of Atlantic to Audubon remains partially covered
- County Road 173 from US 6 to Elk Horn remains impassable
