(Red Oak) On Tuesday morning, the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors set a date for a public hearing, approved a ReNewGov agreement, and approved the final voucher for the bridge project on 250th Street.
Montgomery County Engineer Karen Albert says the project bid was two-million-one-hundred-eighty-nine-thousand-five hundred and ninety-five-dollars. Albert says the actual cost of the bridge project was two-million-two-hundred-fifty-two-thousand-nine-hundred-and-sixty-one dollars. The supervisors approved the final voucher for the bridge project on 250th Street.
In other business, the supervisors approved the first Hearing for the FY2026 Budget (Truth in Taxation Statements) for March 25, 2025, at 8:45 a.m. The board of supervisors conducted a lengthy discussion on a proposed agreement with ReNewGov, a cloud-based software that would replace their current plan. Mongomery County Auditor Jill Ozuna explained that this new software is probably about two and a half to three years out. Following the discussion, the board did not agree to a contract; they voted 4-1 to move forward with a possible agreement.
