(Atlantic) Atlantic hosts Glenwood and Clarinda in a triangular wrestling meet tonight. It is the start of a busy three days for the Trojans. Following this evening’s duals, Atlantic competes in the John J. Harris Wrestling Tournament on Friday and Saturday. Tonight is also senior night for the Trojans.
Atlantic Head Coach Tim Duff says three seniors—Evan Sorensen, Aiden Smith, and Cameron McDermott—will be recognized this evening.
Coach Duff says Aiden Smith is a four-year letter winner, three-time Hawkeye 10 Conference Tournament Champion, and three state medal winner who has done it all in wrestling.
Coach Duff says the third senior Evan Sorensen, like Smith, has had a successful career.
Coach Duff says Mabry Ohm, the senior manager, will also be recognized this evening, along with senior cheerleader Gabriella Porter.
