(Des Moines) Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is ordering all flags at the state capitol and state buildings to be raised to full staff in honor of the presidential inauguration of President-Elect Donald Trump. They’ll be at full-staff from sunrise to sunset on January 20th. Governor Reynolds said Iowa will celebrate and recognize the historic change in our country’s leadership by raising its flags. President Trump will be officially sworn into office as the 47th President of the United States on Monday. Flags are expected to be lowered to half-staff from January 21st to January 28th in remembrance of former President Jimmy Carter.
