(Atlantic) The Atlantic girls’ wrestling team will host a dual tournament tonight. Atlantic Head Coach Mike Greving states that the teams competing in the tournament include Atlantic, Creston, Lewis Central, Clarinda, Missouri Valley, and SWAT.
The Trojans are led by Haley Armstrong, who competes in the 235-pound weight class and enters tonight’s competition with a record of 20 wins and 1 loss.
Coach Greving also mentions that Cadence Kinzie, competing at 115 pounds, is back in the lineup tonight. Olivia Knuth is a newcomer to the team and will wrestle at 145 pounds. Other team members include Hailey Huffman at 130 pounds and Leah Thomas, who has moved down from 170 pounds to 155 pounds. The meet starts at 5:30 PM at the Atlantic High School gym.
