(Undated) — The weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas are the busiest time of the year for merchants, especially the ones who run small businesses. Finding workers continues to be an issue, meaning some owners are putting in long hours, making sales.
Jeff Burdett, with the Federation of Independent Business, says if their members can’t find workers then it’s up to the owners to make the sales.
He says that inflation continues to fuel the worker shortage. A new survey found that 36-percent of small business owners could not fill jobs in November.
