(Altoona, IA) — Governor Kim Reynolds is touting efforts to save Iowans money. Accepting an award yesterday in Altoona, Reynolds said making Iowa competitive when it comes to taxes was just making a “few modest tweaks.” The Republican received the Linda S. Weindruch award from the Iowa Taxpayers Association the group’s annual Tax Symposium yesterday. It recognizes efforts “in promoting and protecting the principles and policies of fair business taxation.” Reynolds claimed the “best is yet to come” and thanked those around her for making impactful changes to the state’s tax system.
