(Atlantic) Produce in the Park’s Harvest Market is set to take place today, Monday, November 25, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Cass County Community Center, located at 805 W. 10th Street in Atlantic. Local residents are invited to stock up on fresh foods, festive decorations, and unique gifts ahead of Thanksgiving while supporting local growers and artisans.
This year’s Harvest Market features a wide variety of locally grown produce, including greens, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, potatoes, and squash. Attendees will also find locally produced meats, desserts, pastries, baked goods, honey, eggs, jams, jellies, syrups, popcorn, and more.
To add to the experience, Imagine Gifts and Greenhouse will host a soup supper, offering Chicken Noodle, Vegetable Beef, and Loaded Baked Potato soups. Soups will be available for dine-in or carry-out, providing a warm meal option for market-goers.
As part of this year’s event, attendees aged 18 and older can enter a free drawing to win a $100 gift card redeemable at Produce in the Park’s Christmas Market, scheduled for Saturday, December 21, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at the Nishna Valley Family YMCA.
Visitors to Harvest Market can also connect with local organizations, including Cass County Tourism, Healthy Cass County, and the Cass County Grow Another Row program, which will provide resources and information.
