Iowa St. is in a 4 way tie for 3rd at 4-2 with West Virginia, Arizona St. and Kansas St. Campbell believes he still has a good football team and needs more consistency across the board and the needs his leaders to step up and show the young guys
Cincinnati is a game behind ISU in the Big 12 and there’s a familiar face on the Bearcats sidelines — Tyson Veidt was an assistant at Toledo under Campbell and went with him to Ames and eventually became the associate head coach with the Cyclones. Iowa St. faced tough running quarterbacks the last two weeks and Saturday is no exception — Brendan Sorsby had two fumbles and threw a 79 yard pick 6 last week in a 31-24 loss to West Virginia. Campbell says his ability to run provides problems for the Cyclone D
