(Council Bluffs) A Council Bluffs man was sentenced to 84 months in federal prison for Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance.
According to public court documents, in 2023, 41-year-old Carlos Garcia Garcia distributed large quantities of methamphetamine in the Council Bluffs area. Drug proceeds seized during the investigation totaled $58,700, which was forfeited by the investigating agency.
After completing his term of imprisonment, Garcia Garcia will be required to serve a four-year term of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
