(Jewell) Threats were made at South Hamilton High School yesterday. The threat was made on Snapchat and flagged by the platform’s algorithm. The FBI alerted local law enforcement. As a precaution, the high, middle, and elementary schools were placed on lockdown. Law enforcement was able to identify the student who made the post. After investigation, the threat was deemed not credible. The lockdown was lifted, and the students were released. No injuries or arrests were reported.
School Superintendent Heather Holm posted a letter on social media stating that classes would resume today.
