(Atlantic) The Cass County Auditor’s Office tells KSOM/KS95 News that about one-third of the county’s registered voters cast early ballots.
Auditor Kathy Somers says about 700 individuals requested absentee ballots by mail, most of which have been returned to the Auditor’s Office. She says there may be a few out there, but they still have to return them today. Somers added that the total number of early voting ballots neared 3,000 as of the close of business at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
Somers said there are 9,000 registered voters in Cass County. The voting precincts opened at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.
