(Lincoln, NE) — Nebraska football has to go back to the drawing board as they enter a bye week. It has been three straight losses for the Huskers — losing to Indiana, Ohio St. and falling 27-20 last week to UCLA. Head Coach Matt Rhule says this week will be a week of recruiting, preparing for USC and it will be a week of introspection
Freshman QB Dylan Raiola came out of the UCLA game banged up — Rhule says he suffered a contusion to his back and spine that led to spasms. If Nebraska were playing this week, he would be questionable but Rhule says he should be ready for the Trojans. Overall, Rhule says the offense has to see some improvements in different areas before they take the field against USC
Rhule has decided to get a different set of eyes to evaluate the offense — according to multiple media reports former West Virginia and Houston Head Coach Dana Holgorson has been added to the offensive staff as an advisor.
