(Neola) #8 Tri-Center travels to St. Albert on Friday in a critical Class A District 8 game. The Trojans and Woodbury Central are both undefeated in District play. The two will square off next week. Meanwhile, Head Coach Ryan Schroder says all the attention is on a good St. Albert team sitting at 2-2 in district play and 2-3 overall.
The Falcons have passed for 789 yards and rushed for 682. Senior Quarterback Owen Marshall is 55-106, throwing the football for 750 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions. Parker Heisterkamp has 23 carries for 349 yards. Kyle Irwin leads the ground attack with 93 catches for 478 yards.
Tri-Center fell short of AHSTW in a non-district football game in week one. Since then, the Trojans have won four straight games.
Tri-Center quarterback A. J. Harder has been outstanding, completing 60.76 percent of his passes for 1,076 yards and eleven touchdowns. Equally impressive is Carter Kunze running the ball with 121 carries for 818 yards.
Kunze (23.5) and Benton Kramer (23) lead the team in tackles. The Trojans have four fumble recoveries and four interceptions so far this season. Cole Hobbs leads the Falcon’s defense with 43 stops, including 33 solo tackles and one for loss. St. Albert has two fumble recoveries and two interceptions.
The kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m. at St. Albert.
