(Atlantic) The Atlantic Cross Country Team held time trials on Tuesday, setting the lineup for Saturday’s opening meet at Glenwood. Atlantic Head Coach Dan Vargason says the team has improved over the past few weeks.
Coach Vargason says the team is more inexperienced than it has been in some years, so it takes a while to adapt to the pace of a race.
Luke Irlmeier, Vinny Meisinger, and Xander Cook are the top three runners heading into Saturday. Katrina Williams led the girl’s team, followed by Bella Brock and Elynor Brummer.
The Trojans travel to Glenwood on Saturday. The meet starts at 9:00 a.m.
