(West Des Moines, IA) – As we’re headed to the end of the regular season of softball action, the IGHSAU has released its week six rankings for the 2024 softball season. These rankings are compiled by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. The local teams in Class 1A feature Martensdale-St Marys and Wayne remaining in first and second, Earlham takes a spot outside the top ten at #11, and Griswold drops out of the top ten to #13. For Class 2A teams, Van Meter stays in first, Audubon moves up three additional spots to fourth, Interstate-35 remains at #10, Treynor jumps back into the rankings at #14, and Missouri Valley jumps out of the top ten to #15. In Class 3A, Clarinda stays right in 9th overall. Jumping over to Class 4A, North Polk remains in first, ADM has been put at sixth, Carlisle, Winterset, and Bondurant-Farrar are 9th, 10th, and 11th, and Gilbert is at 15th.
