(Des Moines) Parts of the State of Iowa are bracing for severe weather. Andrew Ansorge with the National Weather Service in Des Moines says a few showers today will be followed by more intense storms sweeping through southwest Iowa in the afternoon on Friday.
Anyone with outdoor plans on Saturday and Sunday will be vulnerable to hazardous weather.
