(Atlantic) Healthy Cass County and Cass County ISU Extension have recently updated the Cass County Urgent Need Resource Guide. The guide is on the Cass County ISU Extension website at https://www.extension.iastate.edu/cass/family-food.
Grace McAfee, the Cass County Community Wellness Coordinator, emphasized the importance of having all of Cass County’s resources compiled in one place during times of need. This guide includes crisis assistance, family support, legal aid, food assistance, health services, mental wellness support, housing help, substance misuse treatment, transportation options, and other resources.
The organizations creating this document ask for help ensuring the guide reaches everyone in Cass County. Healthy Cass County is a community-focused volunteer network dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of Cass County residents. She says the great thing about this is that all this information is compiled into one document.
