(Guthrie County) The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office asks individuals with snowmobiles who are willing to assist in an emergency this winter.
Guthrie County Deputy Blake Michelsen says they are seeking volunteers throughout the County residing near Highways 4, 44, 141, and White Pole Road.
Deputy Michelsen says interested volunteers can email him at bmichelsen@gcso.gov or directly message the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office Facebook Page. Please reply with your name, address, phone number, and how many people you could transport on your snowmobile, including yourself, and whether you have a machine.
The Sheriff says risks are involved, and this is a non-paid volunteer position. The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office will not be liable or financially responsible for any injury sustained, nor liable or financially responsible for any damaged snow machines.
