Creston Police Report Two Drug-Related Arrests

(Creston) Creston Police reports two arrests over the weekend.

Police arrested 20-year-old Garrett Neal Thompson of Creston on Sunday at the Hy Vee parking lot on two Union County warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of prescription drugs. Police transported Thomson to the Union County Jail and later released him on a $1,300 cash bond.

Creston Police arrested 44-year-old Lela Ann Churchwell at the Creston Union County Law Enforcement Center on four Union County warrants for disorderly conduct-loud raucous noise, public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, and harassment 3^rd degree. Officers transported Churchwell to the Adams County Jail, where she is being held on a $900 cash bond and a $300 or surety bond.
