(Des Moines) Bitter-cold temperatures will linger this morning across most of Iowa before the warmup begins on Monday.
A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until 11:00 a.m. today. Wind chill values of 30 below zero are forecast this morning.
The good news is temperatures are forecast to warm up today with a high of 24 and 25 degrees by early Monday morning with a gusty south wind.
Monday’s high is 34, with a low of 31 degrees and a 65-percent chance of precipitation.
