(Audubon) The Audubon County Board of Supervisors conducted a lengthy meeting on Tuesday. Supervisor Chairman Heath Hansen says the focus is setting up for a successful year.
Hansen says one of the goals is to improve communications between the County and the various municipalities. He says they are addressing this by arranging regular scheduled meetings with the county and city representatives.
Hansen says the goal is to conduct individual meetings with every city government representative and three meetings with all municipalities.
Additionally, by request from some county employees, the supervisors moved the day after Christmas as a holiday to Christmas Eve. The board also set a goal of increasing the publicity of the various boards. Hansen says one reason is to inform the public and fill the seats on those multiple boards.
