(Cass Co) Cass County Engineer Trent Wolken updated the Board of Supervisors this morning on the recent snow events.
Wolken said they worked through the weekend and really couldn’t start making progress until Sunday and Monday.
Wolken also noted that the year in construction has come to an end for now. He said the bridge on G30 west of Atlantic over Indian Creek is essentially open to local traffic.
Wolken said the box culvert east of Cumberland will open weather permitting. He said they need to get the snow off and the equipment out.
In total, Cass County Secondary Roads did 5.7-million dollars in construction last year.
In other news from the Supervisors, the board approved the Use of Funding request form for non-profits and approved the hire of a County Attorney/Sheriff liaison at $25 per hour.
