First Day’s Hike at Prairie Rose State Park Deemed a Success

(Harlan) The Nationwide First Day’s Hike was a success at Prairie Rose State Park in Harlan. 

The First Day’s Hike took place at Prairie Rose on January 1st at 10:00 a.m. The hike included a 2 mile loop, with a few hills, as well as free popcorn and hot cocoa from the Friends of Prairie Rose State Park. KSOM News spoke to Naturalist Christina Roelofs about how the event turned out. 

Roelofs also shared some upcoming events at Prairie Rose.
